During 2024, the mines produced 2,175kwmt manganese ore and the smelter produced 0kt manganese alloy. The smelter has been on care and maintenance since 2020 and remains so as its future is assessed.\r\n\r\n• Hillside Aluminium - operates as a smelter primary producing aluminium for the export and domestic markets. During 2024, Hillside produced 720kt aluminium.
