Brikor Ltd manufactures and supplies building and construction materials for low-cost housing, residential, commercial, industrial, civil engineering and infrastructure projects and undertakes coal mining.\r\n\r\nThe company operates through two operational segments:\r\n• Bricks - Plant 1 and Plant 3 (2 clay brick-making plants in Nigel)\r\n• Coal & Clay at Ilangabi Investments 12 (Pty) Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary with mining assets as follows:\r\n- Vlakfontein - stone, clay, coal with a remaining Life of Mine (LOM) of 20 years\r\n- Grootfontein - clay, coal, silica sand with prospecting rights executed on 13 July 2021\r\n- Plant 1 - clay with a remaining LOM of 11 years\r\n- Rayton - clay - no mining activities since 2006 with a remaining LOM of 8 years (which is currently in process of sale)
