AngloGold Ashanti PLC is an independent, global gold mining company with a portfolio of operations, projects, and exploration activities in 9 countries: Ghana, Guinea, Tanzania, DRC, Argentina, Brazil, Columbia, the United States, and Australia, on four continents: South America, Africa, America, and Australia, and also pursues value-creating opportunities involving other minerals.\r\n\r\nThe Company\'s activities include:\r\n• Exploration: Establishing and maintaining a pipeline of economically viable projects to develop long-term mining operations.\r\n• Mining, Processing, and Refining: Operates and maintains mining and processing infrastructure and equipment and ensures a skilled and trained workforce to enable cost-efficient, safe operations.\r\n• Sale of Product, Financial Management: Sale of gold and by-products to generate revenue through financial management and capital allocation to ensure positive, sustained cash flow and returns.\r\n• Rehabilitation and Mine Closure: Develops and maintains constructive stakeholder relations to support regulatory and social licences to operate; minimise and mitigate any environmental impact and manage closure responsibly.\r\n\r\nGold is the company\'s principal product, but AGA also produces Silver (Argentina) and Sulphuric Acid (Brazil) as by-products. In Colombia, one of the two projects underway, Quebradona, will produce both gold and copper.
